Before I came to GroomArts Academy I was “training” with an existing groomer who didn’t help me at all. She told me I would never be a pet stylist unless a miracle happened which really knocked my confidence.

Since then, my confidence has rocketed and I couldn't be happier!

Before I became a groomer I used to travel far to work and be out of the house all day. I didn’t enjoy my job and wanted to work with dogs, as I had owned them throughout my life. I have now been grooming professionally for three years and have my own salon. Laura and the teachers at Groomarts Academy helped me overcome my boundaries and build up my confidence in grooming. I can now work from home and have the flexibility to spend more time my family and dogs. I would recommend Groomarts Academy to others because they’re passionate about what they do and it’s an intensive learning environment, unlike attending a college course once a week and forgetting everything you’ve learnt. Defi nitely sign your name up to Groomarts Academy, its dramatically changed my career and I’m sure it will change your life too.

People wanted me to groom their dogs too but I didn’t feel confident because I wasn’t properly qualified.

I then turned to GroomArts Academy to do my City & Guilds Level 3 Qualification and the team were absolutely incredible.

The course was hard work and my brain felt frazzled at times but it was the best way to learn and I came home every day with a smile on my face and I was just so happy.

My husband noticed a big difference in me, my skills and my confidence and from that point my business really took off and I couldn’t be happier!
